Things Left Unsaid

Babe,

This song hit me so hard. I had to listen to it over and over…and cry. It wasn’t that you didn’t know I loved you, its that there were so many more conversations to have. I remember being in the hospital that last time and you saying “I love you”…Its the last time I remember you saying it. And reading the end of your book to you that night and seeing the tears in your eyes. I didn’t know if it was because of the way it ended…the death of the characters or just because the book was finished…over…ended. It seemed so final and I didn’t read the whole book, but I remember trying not to cry too.

I just wish you were here. The last part…about not taking those here for granted hit me too. I hope that I’m not. I see how fragile life is. I want to tell everyone that I love them and I care about them, even if I don’t talk to them much or see them often enough.

There’s so much more to say. I feel like I’ve messed up so much recently. But at least with you I hope you know that I love you and I I wish you were here to talk to. I miss my best friend.
